About Enrico's Kitchen

Enrico's Kitchen was established in 1987 by Sydney restaurateur Enrico Viscontini. The business started out as a family business, as Enrico provided his daughter Chira with delicious meals for lunch at school every day. When the other children caught a glimpse of the meals that Chira was bringing to school, they demanded that Enrico's pasta was sold in their school canteen. Enrico complied, and opened a modest factory to manufacture the pasta in Pendle Hill, west of Sydney.

Over the years, Enrico's Kitchen has seen tremendous growth. With a factory now based in Wetherill Park, Enrico's supplies 6 delicious pasta meals (all in the ‘green' category) and 3 pizzas (in the ‘amber' category) to over 5,000 school canteens in Australia. Enrico's still remains stead fast on its principle of providing tasty home style pastas and meals that are healthy and of high quality – the winning formula behind its success.

As well as providing for school canteens, Enrico's Kitchen also has a great range of products available in the retails chain stores Woolworths, Safeway, Coles and Bi-Lo all over Australia.

Enrico's also provides delicious home-style meals to the catering industry, and has now launched its very own Gelato and Sorbet range for everyone to enjoy!

In August 2006 Enrico's was taken over by Cumberland Industries Ltd, an organisation that provides supported employment for over 500 people with disabilities in Western Sydney. This was a perfect fit for both businesses.

Enrico's Kitchen, a leading provider of tasty home-style pastas and meals which are healthy and of high quality, has recently been successful in expanding its business, having grown by ten percent in the past twelve months alone.
